Winner of Show of the week at VAULT Festival 2019

From birth to death, joy and heartbreak in a single breath, our award-winning show, CARE, celebrated 70 years of the NHS. With an ensemble cast of 12, CARE looked at how care is given in one of our most precious national services.

We are the most in debt, obese, addicted and medicated people in history. We ask on a dwindling, fractured and skeletal NHS infrastructure- what is care? How do we continue to care for everyone? CARE was developed in 2019 with the National Youth Theatre and The Freezer Theatre, Iceland. 

A joyful, fascinating and socially revelatory look at what it means to care in 2019 with a combination of beautiful, playful movement-driven visual theatre, powerful and humorous direct address storytelling, and joyous interactive play.
